1. Definitions
- "Tawaasal" refers to Ibdaa Ltd, the company operating the Service.
- "Customer" means the individual or organisation that registers for an account.
- "School" means an educational institution provisioned on the platform.
- "User" means any person who accesses the Service, including administrators, teachers, students, and guardians.
- "Content" means any data, text, files, or materials uploaded to or generated by the Service.
2. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Customer account. Schools are responsible for ensuring appropriate consent for minors who use the platform.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to transmit harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Use the Service to collect personal data without appropriate consent.

4. Subscriptions and Payment
Tawaasal offers Free, Basic, Professional, and Enterprise subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Tawaasal does not store your payment card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 14 days of a charge.
- Tawaasal reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing customers.
5. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR. Schools using the Service to process student data must enter into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Tawaasal.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Tawaasal and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of Content you upload to the Service.
By uploading Content, you grant Tawaasal a limited licence to store, process, and display that Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7. Service Availability
Tawaasal targets 99.9% uptime for the Service. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Tawaasal may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tawaasal's total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to Tawaasal in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Tawaasal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged and existing customers will be asked to re-accept the updated Terms on next login. Non-material changes take effect immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
